After I read the prompt for essay 4. The first media come into my mind is TV show. Recent years, there are a lots of interesting TV show with verities topic. Some of them are about vampires, superman, and people from other star even about government. Not only adult but also teenagers and children like watching these topic. It seems like normal topic TV show cannot satisfy people’s requirements and curiosity. But I am wondering about does all these TV show give us all the positive influence or just the pure happiness. As I know, one of the TV show, Vampires Dairy, there are a lots of violet and killing scene in it. So when children watch it, do they fell scared or do they will copy that behavior. Even they won’t copy that, I think if they watch it for a long time, they will think kill people is nothing. However, some TV show, especially soap opera, always talks about how a handsome and rich man fall in love with a women who is poor and not beautiful enough even have doesn't have go to school. To be honest, as a normal girl, I also think this kind of stories are romantic, but the problem is many girls after watching it will just fantasying some day they can wait for someone like the actor in the TV show. They won’t hardworking or do their best to let themselves better.  So what is line for the TV shows need to keep? How to balance peoples’ interests and the negative effects. 

        I think in this reading, Pollan talked about the way that those animals like, cows, chickens, larvae, grasses and bacteria raising. Also he talked about how to use some medical products, for example, antibiotics, paracticides and wormers. After I read this article, I realize the process about farming is so complex. The things I thinks a lot is about the future of healthy and natural eating. There are several food safety news that read on new paper even on the internet really surprised me. The fruit, vegetables and even the meat we eat every day are product by so many steps which include those chemical substances. Some of that are using for avoid the insect, some of that are using for keeping fresh. The question is are these antibiotics and wormers safe for people’s body or have any negative effect for our health. I think people should pay more attention on this topic because it is relate to everyone in daily life.        Another information attract me a lot is farmers growing or producing more than one crop or animal at the same time. It is really interesting. For example, they let rabbits and chickens living together. Let them stay in the same place. Chickens can peck or eating the things that rabbit falling down or dropping. That will let the space more clean and looks not so messy. Also the most important thing is can reducing the smell of animals. This types of way of growing can balance the defects of these two animals when they growing. And doesn’t need so much even providing no need for antibiotics, chemicals or dedications. In this way, it makes the animal healthier and nature. It allows the grower to watch the animals for signs of illness instead of suppressing disease prophylactically.       Do you think that consumers should have more knowledge about how their food is grown in addition to the standard "organic" symbol? Or do you think people even care about these extra tidbits of information regarding how their food is grown? I think most of people doesn’t pay enough attention on this part. When we enjoy the advantage and the benefit of technology, we should think about if there are any side-effect on it will affect our healthy.  

     
     For this essay, I think the most difficult thing for me is to add appropriate examples. Because in this essay, I need to find some examples to support my opinion. That includes my personal experience, other people's examples and some data to prove my opinion are right or to convince other people. 
    
     About the topic, privacy, I really learned a lot. Before I read my article, I think my personal information is safe.  After I read it, I realized that how many bugs in our daily life, exponentially on the internet.   
   
     My writing process for this essay is I start free writing at first. I forget grammar, words, I just write write anything I want to write anything I remember. And then, I start organize mu essay, for example, the structure. Finally, I correct my grammar errors. 

The article I, read named My Favorite Teacher by Thomas L.Friedman. It is about the teacher author like most, Hattie M.Steinberg. She was author high school Intro to Journalism class teacher. Author learned a lot from this teacher, even when he interview a person without tie he also remember his teacher when he working. Not only author, but other students remained her when she died. They found that teacher still keep their homework when their high school. This article is chronological order.

The topic is about author’s favorite teacher and how this teacher influence her. The reason why we chose this article is because we all students. We meet a lot of teachers in our life. Usually, we only take one teacher’s class for one semester, I think it is hard to talk about a lot of outclass information. After we finish that class, we won't have a lot of conversations or activities with teacher. So I learned a lot from this article. I learn everyone needs to be grateful. But I still have a question. I want to know how author and her teacher remained friends for 30 years. That is a long time. In this long time, do they only talk about academic topic or they also have some connection in their daily life. Because this article talk about some knowledge about journalist, I learned being a good journalist it is better to not only write a lead o accurately transcribe a quote, but also comport ourselves in a professional way when we are writing. Why only this teacher let author think a lot or want to be friends for that long time? That is the last question I have for this article. Because author must have not only this one teacher, why this teacher is so special.

Finally, I want to say " teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." So we need to cherish the time we stay with our teacher and learn more things when we are students.

  I am a college student in University of San Francisco. I come of China, it is my second year in this city. I want to be called 'Iris' because it is my favorite flower, in ancient Greek stories, 'Iris' means the god of rainbow.  In my spear time, as all the girls like, I like shopping with my best friends. And I am so interested in finding popular restaurants. Every time, I saw someone post any restaurants on Facebook or Wechat I always ask them the address and go there to try. For my family, it include my parents, my little sister and I. My little sister is four years old now, Every time when I back home, she becomes really excited. Although I only have one or two month at home on vacation each year, we still have a wonderful time to get along well with each other. 

  About my college life in America, I think I come more and more independent. Not like at home, I need do all my cooking, washing and taking care of myself. In order to increase my efficiency, I learn how to manage my time and how to learn by myself. For example, my bus100 class, my professor never teach the things in our book, instead of that she said we could do more activities at class with our classmate. So I need to read the book before I take the class and if I have some misunderstanding, I can ask her at her offer hour.
To be honest, I think write on Internet is more useful and convince. Because you won't worries if you will lost it.It is not my first time write on Internet, I used to write on Facebook. Usually, I use my native language but sometimes I use English. I think each language has their own treats.
